How Do I Order a Roll Off Bin?
Stop by our office at 3 US Hwy 95A East, Yerington, NV or call us at 775-463-3090 to order a Roll Off bin or to check the availability of bins in your area. All bins must be paid for prior to delivery. Availability is dependent on current inventory.
The busiest seasons are Spring, Summer & Fall, so be sure to plan ahead to ensure the size you need is available. Availability during Winter months is subject to weather conditions. Snowy, icy and very muddy conditions can prevent delivery and pick up of bins.
How Long Is My Rental of a Roll Off Bin?
Standard Roll Off bin rental is for two weeks. If you have a long term construction project, contact our office to inquire about options. If you have other unique circumstances, contact our office to discuss.
Where Can the Roll Off Bin Be Placed?
The bin must be placed on a flat area that has at least three feet of clearance on all sides of the bin. We need an overhead clearance of 20 feet and 60 feet of straight, unobstructed clearance to pull out from under the bin as it is dropped on the property. We do not suggest placing the bin on concrete and are not responsible for any resulting damage if you request that it be placed on your concrete area.
How Can I Load the Roll Off Bin?
All standard Roll Off bins have barn-style doors on the back of the bin that can be opened so that you can walk in large, bulky or heavy items. Weight must be evenly distributed. Loading heavy material all on one side can result in the bin not being able to be safely or effectively picked up once full.
Once you have loaded the large or heavy items, secure the barn doors and continue loading the remaining materials by hand over the top of the bin. DO NOT USE EQUIPMENT TO SCOOP UP AND DROP ITEMS INTO THE BIN! This will result in dirt or gravel being included in the bin, which can result in the load being dumped back out on the ground due to overweight and/or unevenly weighted loads, which are not safe or legal to travel with.
If you hand load items into an equipment bucket and then drop them into the bin, keep the equipment bucket away from the rim of the bin. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PACK ITEMS DOWN INTO THE BIN WITH EQUIPMENT! The bins are not designed for compacting and structural damage to the bin will occur. The customer will be responsible for any and all repair or replacement costs due to bin damage resulting from misuse by the customer or their contractors.
When Do You Pick Up the Roll Off Bin?
You must call or come by the office to notify us when you are done with the Roll Off bin. We will not automatically pick up the bin unless you are well past the rental period and we have another customer waiting for the bin, you have not contacted the office and we are not able to reach you by telephone.
What Happens if I Overload a Roll Off Bin or Load it with Unacceptable Materials?
At the sole discretion of the driver:
- Materials stacked above the rim or items sticking over the rim of the bin may be removed and placed on the ground adjacent to the bin before the bin is tarped and removed.
- Unacceptable materials may be removed and placed on the ground adjacent to the bin before the bin is tarped and removed.
- A charge for the labor to remove unacceptable materials or overloaded materials may be incurred
- The bin may be left in place until you remove unacceptable materials and/or remove materials loaded beyond the bin’s capacity or sticking above the rim.
- If dirt, cock, concrete or other aggregate materials are included in a standard Roll Off bin, the doors may be opened and the contents of the bin dumped on the ground where it sits, especially if significant amounts are included resulting in the bin being overweight and unsafe for pick up.
- A call out fee may be charged if we are unable to pick up the bin and must make another trip once the bin is properly loaded and does not include unacceptable materials.
